Subject: run-off elections June 21, 2009.
In view of the runoff to be held on June 21 I consider it appropriate, as a candidate for Mayor the center in the first round of elections, to demonstrate a reasoned approach in order to clarify some items of possible agreements, in whatever form, with the mayoral candidate Dr. Vincenzo Della Corte and Mr. Louis Galiano.
The results of the first round where I was a candidate in open disagreement with the coalition of "moderate" converging on the figure of the President of Confindustria Brindisi confirmed unequivocally the position of the PD but not fawning over foreign policy choices and strategies to its identity and still which have developed primarily because of the consent of old people and power groups that exhibited the ability to "dominate" any container policy chosen, significant sectors of the electorate.
Moreover, the UDC in Europe stood at a consensus very insufficient to invoke the desired formation of a third pole moderate. And therefore
locally, waiting for that third prong, or perhaps more realistically the possible implosion of the PDL resulting in replacement of its leadership, it is clear the intention of the UDC "bargain" with the high bidder roles and positions of government.
If proof were needed is shown to be illusory political laboratory of the much trumpeted the effects of which are state of the heavy losses in the center of forces agreement and in particular of PD that can be recognized a mere function of "lady in waiting" even well-paid employment because of his services first and foremost a decision to exclude any attempt to create a real alternative in politics is not even aware that 2 +2 always equals 4.
E 'certain is that the desire not to disturb the new "leader maximo" which required the contribution of the decisive Senator Curtis and Mr Poli Bortone has produced not only the breakdown of any relationship between the political forces of the center but resulted in the disappearance of an opposition in the City Council numerically valid, credible and clear because it does not mired in the past or recent events administrative operations of pure power.
Ciò tanto più ove il PD decidesse di apparentarsi con il candidato Luigi Galiano o decidesse di appoggiarlo in forme surrettizie pur di salvare una ormai compromessa dignità politica.
Per tali ragioni ritengo personalmente di confermare ogni scelta compiuta e per tali motivi il 21 giugno non mi recherò alle urne, salva la decisione di esprimermi solo sui quesiti referendari. Ciò proprio per neutralizzare ogni possibile tentativo di strumentalizzazione o di millantare inesistenti accordi o attenzioni privilegiate.
Ed in tal senso invito a comportarsi gli elettori che non intendono parteggiare sia per l’uno sia per l’altro dei candidati.
E’ altresì legittimo recarsi alle urne ritirando le schede e consegnarle immediatamente not get into the cab.

What I think is representative also expressed the will of the coalition that supported me and thank for the estimation and l’apporto offerto.
